LPS Care Basics
- Lighting: Many LPS corals prefer moderate lighting, but requirements vary by species and previous conditions.
- Flow: Aim for enough water movement to keep tissue clean without forcing fleshy polyps against their skeleton.
- Spacing: Give Euphyllia and other aggressive LPS corals room for sweeper tentacles.
- Stability: Consistent salinity, temperature, alkalinity and nutrient levels matter more than chasing a perfect number.

Shipping and Local Pickup
Gem State Corals ships live corals Monday through Wednesday, with weather holds used when conditions could compromise livestock safety. Qualifying nationwide coral orders of $300 or more receive free overnight shipping. Caldwell-area customers may select local pickup and can schedule an appointment to shop in person.
