Q: My pond is under a tree, should I use both your Cream and White Pond Filter Pads?

A: Of course, pond water should flow through our Cream (coarse) media first to collect LARGE particles. White (Fine) media should be placed next so pond water flows to it next.  

Q: Can you still use this pad with a Carbon Pad?

A: Yes, layer our Cream coarse and Carbon Filter pad. 

Q: Do these pads needs to be rinsed before use?

A: We suggest these be rinsed before use.

Q: How easily can this material be cut? 

A: Use strong, sharp scissors or a utility knife to cut this filter pad. (Make a cardboard template of your own filter to easily cut into your desired shape and size)

Q: How thick is this cream filter pad?

A: Our extra thick Cream Filter pad is 2" thick - perfect for Koi and Garden ponds. Also works well in aquariums.
